The Fluvanna SPCA is seeking an energetic, compassionate, collaborative Shelter Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our shelter and help us continue building a modern, foster-centric organization.

We are a small community shelter with an active and engaged Board of Directors. We believe excellent sheltering means providing outstanding care while also working every day to move animals toward positive outcomes through foster, adoption, transfer, and other appropriate pathways.

The Position

The Shelter Operations Manager is the senior on-site operational leader and works closely with staff, the Board, fosters, volunteers, veterinary partners, and the community.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys developing people, solving problems, improving systems, and making a meaningful difference for animals.
